Why a UV Cut?
Since the EyeOne Match and ProfileMaker software packages can detect and compensate for UV brighteners in papers, you typically don’t need a UV cutoff filter installed in your EyeOne Pro Spectrophotometer. However, you will need an EyeOne Pro Spectrophotometer with the UV cutoff filter, if you are making measurements of paper with UV brighteners with any third party software, such as a RIP or MonacoPROFILER.
*CMYK Easy Profiling takes advantage of our new “small test chart” technology where you can quickly and easily create a perceptual color profile by reading just a few rows of color swatches from a given output device. Within the i1Match application, you simply print the small test chart named CMYK Easy and then scan it in using your i1.
